  • Yes!

If you are unable to shower please make sure you are wearing deodorant and wipe down your feet and other areas that tend to collect dirt and sweat.

  • You can book your pregnancy massages from the first day of your 2nd trimester all the way through your due date.

Post pregnancy massages can be booked 6 weeks after the delivery date.

  • It is appropriate to wear nothing for your massage. Your Massage Therapist is professionally trained to drape the sheets properly to avoid exposure.

Please wait to undress until after your therapist exits the room.

If you are uncomfortable with being fully nude on the table you can leave your underwear on.

  • Although conversation is always welcome it can be more beneficial to relax into the quiet of your massage. Feel free to inform your Massage Therapist that you aren’t going to speak during your massage unless needed.

Massage Therapists are trained to remain quiet so you can get the most out of your massage. We are also open to appropriate conversation. Conversation can help us get to know you and your body better so we can provide the best care for you.

  • Communication is the most important element of providing you with the best care. Although your Massage Therapist will check in with you at the beginning of your session to see if the pressure is right for you, different areas of the body respond to different pressures and you may find it to be too much pressure at times.

When the pressure gets to be too much or not enough, let your therapist know right away so we can adjust as needed. The more you communicate with your Massage Therapist, the better your massages will be.

  • It is not recommended to work out after your massage. Massage Therapy promotes healing in your muscles and working out will counteract that healing.

Always drink plenty of water after your massage and only participate in mild stretching or walking.

You will be able to work out the very next day and find that you have better range of motion and strength,
